2008: The Beginning
Started out as three partners who'd had enough of the stuffy old-school law firms. We wanted something different - a place where corporate clients could get top-tier legal work without the nonsense. Opened our first small office in downtown Montreal with just a receptionist and a dream.
2012: Major Growth
Won a massive commercial litigation case that put us on the map. Suddenly we're handling M&A deals for mid-sized tech companies and startups that were scaling fast. Added 8 new associates that year and moved into the René-Lévesque building where we're still at today.
2017: Specialization
Decided to focus hard on what we do best - corporate law and business litigation. Turned down cases that didn't fit our wheelhouse. Built out dedicated practice groups for IP protection and employment law. This is when we really found our groove and our reputation took off.
2021: Pandemic Pivot
Like everyone else, we had to adapt fast. Went fully remote within a week, upgraded all our tech, and honestly? Learned we could serve clients way better with hybrid work. Helped dozens of businesses navigate COVID-related legal issues and contract renegotiations. Came out stronger.
2025: Present Day
We're now a team of 24 lawyers plus support staff, handling everything from startup formations to multi-million dollar disputes. Still based in Montreal but working with clients across Canada. Still keeping it real, still focused on results over billable hours.
